THE CLUB

Now that you have arrived at the website of one of the most picturesque tennis clubs in the country, have a look round it and see what we offer.

The Club was established in 1886 and in 2006 we celebrated our 120 years with a Black Tie Ball. Throughout our existence we have always been proud of the Club's record as one of the strongest in the county as well as having courts set in glorious scenery offering fantastic views.

Dallington LTC has a thriving coaching programme for juniors, which runs throughout the year. A comprehensive calendar for adult members offer summer and winter leagues, club championships and national club league matches.

In the local leagues we have teams competing on all fronts, catering for all levels of play within the Club. Throughout Dallington's life we have always challenged for the top awards and trophies.

CLUB MARK AWARD

Dallington is proud to have gained the recongition from the LTA, by achieving the CLUB MARK AWARD. This is down to the hard work and dedication of the club and coaching staff. The award is a kite mark designed by Sport England to show parents and future members of the club that we are an ethically sound and safe club, one the LTA is happy to promote and work with. DLTC has implemented child protection poilicies as well as risk assessments throughout the club. Dallington has also had to show that the junior programme has a place in the heart of the club, running a junior coaching programme all year round, camps and a full range of tournaments. This partnership has shown excellent results as our juniors are regularly crowned County Champions. This award is an ongoing process and one that we intend to keep. Once again thank you for all those involved and to everyone else this shows that Dallington is the club to be at.

Within the Club we have box leagues for singles and doubles as well as fun tournaments. All abilities are welcome as we cater for the experienced team player and group and individual coaching for beginners.

In total, Dallington has seven floodlit courts, six of which are artificial grass, allowing all year round tennis. The Clubhouse provides excellent views to the four main courts with the other three offering more privacy. The atmosphere at the Club is warm and friendly, encouraging new members to join in and get involved with the social side of tennis.
